An opportunity no website owner can ignore

Let's face it, internet marketing is hard and attempting to gain money for a charity campaign is even harder. This is mainly a matter of gaining trust and showing site visitors why they should give to help others. But that means a continuing dialogue with your site's visitors and keeping the issue you're involved with at the forefront of your site visitors' minds.

As a computer programmer I thought that there had to be a better way. After all what do a lot of people on the internet want. If they run websites and blogs then they want ways of monetizing their sites/blogs. Now, one of the best sources of income is ClickBank. But ClickBank has a major problem in that it's not particularly webmaster-friendly. There are loads of products in there, most with generous affiliate incomes of up to 60% and as they often retail for $30 or more, you could be earning at least $15 in commission from each sale. Now that's huge!

Could I create a series of products that anyone with a website or blog couldn't do without, but which would also allow me to fund the charity I'm supporting. Actually, yes I could and the culmination of this was my ClickBank Marketplace which is the best one you can find anywhere as it's based on the ClickBank marketplace's nighly feed (so it's always up to date) but is supplemented by product descriptions and images that are hand crafted.

Once I'd created the basic platform I began work on a range of ClickBank Ads that anyone with a ClickBank nickname could access and use (if you don't have a ClickBank nickname you can get one by following this link).

The first of these products was the Free Search Code which allows anyone with a website (and most blogs) to add a ClickBank search form to their website. Next and possibly coolest came the ClickBank Contextual Ad Creator which allows anyone to create a Google-like contextual ad filled with ClickBank products. For anyone with a website or a blog where they don't want contextual ads I also created a ClickBank RSS feed generator which allows an RSS feed of ClickBank products to be produced. This can be placed on any site simply and doesn't confilct with adsense ads or any other ads. It's also easy to include in any blog.

As all these datasources are created dynamically it means that the ads and products presented are changed on any page refreshed and are always up-to-date with the latest ClickBank products. As the website owner's own ClickBank nickname is entered they wil also gain the income from any sales made. Finally the bar to any website displaying ads has been removed and as these ads are potentially far more lucrative than Google's AdSense you could be making a good residual income very quickly indeed.

But what's that got to do with supporting a charity? Well, in designing a system I created a randomization algorithm that inserts my site's ClickBank id in 8% of all ads displayed. This is done completely randomly so even I don't know which ads are which. But basically from the free tools I'm providing the site owner gets the income from 92% of all sales and I get the income from 8% and this goes directly to the 'help Stefan'. Campaign.

Basically if I can't appeal to peoples' better natures then I can use greed and the desire for more money to boost my site. So, if you grab the ClickBank code from ClickBank Ads pages you can be secure in the knowlege that you're monetizing your site to the max and you can have the 'warm glow' feeling of knowing that you're also supporting a charity at no cost to yourself.

If you want to know more about this then you can find out further information in the latest Celtnet WebInfo eZine release.
